MONSTER SOCIETY
- To some degree, all monsters innately crave chaos. They love the thrill of the hunt, revel in the idea of burning cities to the ground and yearn to haunt unlucky souls who cross their paths. This has posed some unique challenges in modern society, and monsters have found ways to curb these urges and needs while also living peacefully. Some examples of this include:
Access to ethical hunting and nutrition : Vending machines and restaurants that cater to a monster's unique diet can be found on every block of any given city. There are also apps for those who wish to supply nutrition themselves to monsters like vampires.
Adrenaline: Adrenaline satiates monster cravings oftentimes, and thus many monsters have found thrill-seeking hobbies to blow off steam and release some of their pent up energy. Some skydive, some start fight clubs, and others simply take dance lessons. Hobbies depend on each monster's personal tastes and interests.
Entertainment : The number one source of chaos for monsters is, surprisingly, entertainment, and monsters are entertainment junkies. In the modern era they love watching horror movies, tuning into reality shows, watching youtube prank compilations and attending monster truck shows to see the contestants smash each other into metal scraps. Entertainment is a bottomless well for monsters to find enjoyment in, and a way for them to consume chaotic scenarios in a ( usually ) healthy way.
- Some monsters, called Slashers, have little to no control of their cravings and need additional help if they wish to live in society peacefully. There are Slasher rehabilitation clinics that help them find ways to control their cravings, but the urges never fully no away. It is a lifelong affliction. For this reason, many Slashers decide against living in highly populated places to avoid temptation or to avoid being caught altogether if they decide to give in to their needs. They are the rogues of monster society and most scrutinized by the human populace.
- With that being said, all laws that apply to humans apply to monsters as well. Monsters that go on killing sprees will face severe consequences if they are caught.

BANES
Banes are major weaknesses all monsters are born with. Banes can leave a monster open for attack or outright kill them if severe enough. Banes are historically how humans hunted monsters with so much success.
- Banes differ from individual to individual even in the same subspecies of monster, and monsters have taken precautions to carefully guard their banes to the best of their abilities. For example, a monster who has a banes to sunlight may find solace in monster establishments that block out the sun. Monster cities are typically much more accommodating to banes than human cities.
- There is no getting rid of a bane or banes. Some rare magical items may hinder a boon for a short time at best, but it's a temporary solution to a lifelong problem.
- It should be noted that monsters who also have human DNA typically have less severe banes

HUMANS IN MONSTER SOCIETY
- Some humans are accepted into monster society more than others. These humans include magic users, cursed humans and possessed humans to name a few. Humans who find themselves on the fringes of human society for these reasons may seek solace with monsterkind instead.
