Complete this before finishing any application art! This is how we contact potential members and give invites.

Good to go? Nice! This is what you'll need to include on the written portion of your character's application:

Position: Singer, pianist, guitarist, etc

Music type: Link at least one song that’s similar to the music or genre your character creates. This doesn’t have to be a one for one voice claim. This is a music themed group, we want to hear what your character is about!
Personality: Please put at least three positive traits, three neutral traits and three negative traits.

History: Don’t feel like you have to write 12 pages of history. We’re looking for quality and originality over quantity here. Be sure to add why your character wanted to audition for Writhing Snakes.

Abilities: Three main abilities and an optional passive ability. Please keep in mind that these abilities should start out pretty tame as they will be upgraded as the competition progresses. ( Note that these abilities should be updated on the application once they'r upgraded.

Passive Ability Name: An example of a passive ability could be transforming from a werewolf into a human form if the character is a werewolf, or being able to breathe underwater if they’re a mermaid.

Banes: These are major weaknesses your character has as a result of being a monster. You can have multiple banes, but you must have at least one.

Apps will be due by 11:59PM CT on March 24th! You may ask for a two week extension if it's absolutely needed.

AUDITION TIPS

Your character does not have to have a human form. We encourage monsters of all shapes and sizes in this group. If you want a ten story lizard by all means go for it.

If you have information you want to keep secret about your character, but information that is important for the application check, send the mods a version with all the information. Once all of your character’s info has been a-okay’d you’ll be allowed to upload a version with the secrets blacked out. This is the version that will be linked to our website.

Don't worry if you don't make it in for the first opening- completed apps will be the first to be considered for group admission next opening,

Feel free to go as camp as you'd like with your character and instrument designs! If you make a spider creature with six arms who plays a wrap around keyboard we would be thrilled to see it. In this group too much is never too much.
